New Orleans Ladies: Rachel Alexandra is not even close to fully cranked up for this race. There are much bigger fish to fry down the road. I don't even think she will run in the Apple Blossom but will make her next start in the La Troienne on the Kentucky Oaks card. Zardana, who started her career in Brazil, has been racing on turf and synthetic surfaces since coming to the U.S. She is a very good mare and will appreciate the return to a natural dirt track. Zardana is my selection to upset the Horse of the Year.
